I am not a tuner but..

If you already have the predator I don't know why it wouldn't work for any cam swap.

You will need a tuner to write a custom tune for you since the predator will only let you make minor adjustments on the screen.

I have a Predator. I only use canned tunes but I seem to remember seeing a custom tune option in there.

'10 Challenger R/T Classic
Flowmaster Force II cat back, K&N branded CAI with Amsoil dry synthetic filter, Diablo Predator 93 CAI tune,
Mopar '11+ IAT sensor, Mopar hood struts, Voxx 20x9 replica wheels, R/T spoiler emblem

Like I mentioned before, you won't be able to tune the cam yourself. If you look at the old trinity tuner as an example, pages 10 and 11 in the link below, you will see that there is nothing that allows you to change VVT cam timing.

https://www.diablosport.com/content/...ion_manual.pdf

But you can upload a custom tune from a tuner who has CMR software. I am pretty sure this can be done as back in the day the SC kits used to come with the predator that was used to upload custom SC tunes.

You can hit up guys over email like Jay Greene or hemifever that can use your data logs and give you support for a stage 2 tune. That i think would be the best bet to extract the most out of what you got. With decent results too. I think they’re tunes start around $200 up to $500 but guys like jay green will give you lifetime support as long as you dont change your setup like adding boost.

I have personally contacted jay through facebook and he is pretty quick to respond and answer questions

ok so this is what i have learned in this time on this topic. i need a custom tune written from a tuner guy. the tune written will include much much more then the predator can do alone . mostly focusing on vvt timing very important as chally tatum explanes. it would be a safe baseline tune. this tune can be eaisly loaded into the predator and loaded in cars pcm . after that and the important stuff like vvt timing is loaded into pcm. i then can use my wideband to tweak the wot A/F ration in the 3 rpm bands as well as adding spark. i can do that myself or send log file back to tuner for review and tweaking. so basiclly its a custom tune that adjust normal engine performance and vvt timing through out all conditions WOT and everything under. the tweaking comes after this base line tune and specifically focusing on WOT A/F and spark.
correct me if im wrong.

Im not 100% on what exactly they can change and dial in, chally mentioned there is some functions and parameters that diablo just doesnt use. I think talking to a pro is the best way to get 100% answer.

But yes you got the order of operations down lol
