Update, launch control button reprogramming does work when you have SRTset on.

The man on top of the mountain didn't fall there.

Update, if you have the SRT set turned on then you can reprogram a button for launch control. It isn't programmable if you leave the car set up as a scat pack.

Thumbs up

Just Got my Tazer today!!
Noticeable change when Track mode for Trans is set...shifts faster and harder.
Throttle response seems better as well.
Haven't tried Valet or ECO mode yet, will try ECO on the way to work tomorrow. (35 mile commute each way)
LOVE the new graphics in SRT mode as far as the font and lettering size go.

I also enabled the light show while in motion...but won't use it unless emergency or parade/car show.

Super Happy so far with my new toy!

The Valet mode limits the 0-60 mph to about 9.9 seconds.

So, a feature that hasn't been documented but was added in a firmware update last month is...

...drum-roll please...

Keeping the AES valves open ALL THE TIME! This has been confirmed with Scat Packs and is done by enabling SRT mode, pressing the STP button, and then switching to "Track" mode on the UConnect screen. This keeps the valves open when stopped/idling, cruising, WOT, etc.

If anyone has been holding off on getting a TaZer or has been waiting for a way to keep the valves open on-demand, wait no more. Here's video proof.

Thanks for sharing my video. I needed to know for sure. I'm still trying to get some time with a friend's A8 to confirm the AES behaves the same.

Hope you guys enjoy I am working my way through all the features and functions as I learn them here is what I have so far. Z Automotive TaZer: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...dU4XmCwonbZuYE

Thanks for taking the time to prove it works. I've been thinking about getting a TaZer for a while to get in-motion GPS input and the light show (for fun), that's about all I could think of it being good for with a 6-speed and I couldn't really say those things were worth the cost of admission for me, but keeping the AES valves open all the time seems like a much better idea than doing the muffler delete since it can go back to stock sound at the touch of a button.

Can you notice a difference in sound between normal and Track mode at idle with the engine at temp? Curious to know if it's a little louder or throatier open at idle vs standard mode.

Do I need to roll back the changes to my car then reinstall it all again if I download the update? I have had mine almost 2 months but as of now my exhaust valves are not open all the time if I am in Track mode.
