Slight tick/pebble noise on turns

So i have been just noticing past few days a small light ticking almost like a pebble is in the tire noise when i makes slow turns. I can't pinpoint where it may be coming from exactly but sounds like the area of the front wheels. I read a few posts on wheel bearings going bad and also rotors being dirty ect. but was curious if anyone else ran into this issue? Car has about 2400 miles and is 2 months old. Just a bit concerned as i thought it was rocks in the tires but checked the fronts and nothing. Any info would be appreciated before i make a appointment for service.

I had a similar issue but it was more of a slight grinding sound when turning slowly. Took forever to find the problem—a tiny pebble had gotten jammed in the brake pads. Might be worth a look.

What brs said.

My experience with something caught between the rotor and splash shield -- this with another car not my Hellcat -- is the noise is loud, constant, and very irritating. Like Hulk sized finger nails on the world's largest blackboard.

I'm thinking something in a tire. Hard to believe a pebble/rock caught in a tread groove could stay around any length of time so it is probably a screw or nail or something metal. To find this -- or eliminate it -- it is best if the car is raised up and so the wheels can be rotated by hand and a careful check of the entire tire surface be made of each tire of course not just the fronts -- checked for anything in the tire. At the same time check all taped wheel weights are secure that one is not loose.

If there is a bad wheel bearing it might be identified at this time, too.

Hello keon718nyc,

If you end up going into the dealer for an inspection, let us know. We're available via direct message and would be happy to help with the servicing process.

Before i make any more assumptions i am going to go to my local friend who has a repair/tire shop down the block and have them take a look and listen to what i hear. Then maybe they can point out what it is so i dont go into the dealer blinded and possible they dont see it ect.

Thank you for the info as well!

I have a 19 widebody scat pack and it's doing the same thing. Makes a clicking noise from the front passenger side when turning left. Will ask the dealer to take a look when i take it in for my next oil change.

Here is a shot in the dark, have you checked torque on the wheel lugs? Had a co-worker with a bimmer that had a clicking rear end...turns out his wheel bolts were loose.
