08-14 Conversion to 15+ tail lights, no body mods required

I ran into these the other day while looking at ways to modify the tail lights on my 09. Since I haven't seen anything like it before I thought i'd throw it out there incase anyone else has been looking or maybe has dabbled in this particular set themselves. I'm mildly skeptical since it seems like it's only one manufacturer in China making them and they must be pretty new. Seems like, per all of the listings on eBay, they started appearing possibly within the last 2 months. Can't find some anywhere else other than the manufacturer's website. (VLAND). The sequencing turn signal isn't 100% my favorite thing but to get that style of lights as a generally plug and play solution would be really nice. Definitely considering buying some and having a go with it. I'll follow up with review, setup and pictures if I do.

Interesting looks like there are headlights also available with the +2015 look.

I wouldn't mind doing something like this but I take it I would have to take the whole front fascia off to get to these to change out the headlights?

yes

The headlights are bolting up to the radiator support and the the fascia overlays the headlights. There isn't any other way to do it

It's not that bad. Here is the factory instructions. It's for a +2015 but it's very similar for a pre-2015.

Takes about 30-40 minutes to get the front end off. Easier with a friend to help

Just placed my order in today! Check out Greenhorn Garage on youtube and expect an unboxing video within the next 3 weeks. Giving it a week or so to ship and another week at least to find time to record.
