I was just going to say how easy it would be to design and 3D print a holder that fits in the puddle light. Looks like another gadget I must have.

What next, pocket LED projectors that plug into the puddle light that show an animated bee like on the instrument cluster?

I have something similar to the "drop in", but from a forum dweller. Apparently the graphic on the lens has a shelf life, and he offers replacements for the graphic, so you don't need a new assembly when it poops the bed. It's about 15 more, and you can support a Mopar guy.

LOL, I went the stick on route because I didn't want to drill out a hole. So now I ordered this one so I can take off the one I have glued on the door so it's clean again. SMDH always something new to take our money

I have a few friends here in Raleigh that went the drilled route and it does look like factory.
