It's only a license plate. How sturdy does the mounting hardware have to be? You would, literally, have to rip off my lower grill to remove my license plate if you did not first back off the two toggle bolts.

I mean, if that's the standard we're setting, why not just ziptie the thing to the grill and call it a day?

The 392advisors one looks like part of the car from the side instead of an upside down cheap plastic base.'

And it's completely hidden from the front.

Here are the advantages as I see them (my opinion)
1. The bracket from 392advisors only attaches to the lower grill. It does not touch the lower fascia or the spoiler, so it will not scuff either.

2. There is no thick plastic bracket viewable from the side. I think it looks much better.
3. The bracket clamps to the lower grill from both front and back. It "squeezes" the grill from both front and rear against a rigid bracket. The toggle bolt method pulls the center of the lower grill forward. In theory, if you tighten the bolts enough, it could stress, deform or damage the lower grill. I felt better about the mounting method of the 392advisors system.

Personally, I think the 392advisors bracket looks infinitely better. It looks like it was designed for the purpose. I think it was worth every penny I paid for it. But then, to each his own.

Anyone?

I may get to remove mine. If the bracket did not scratch the bumper that is. And if Deweiner, our governor supports it.

It's pointless, specially in Texas. Our registration goes on the windshield and includes our license plate number.

Just curious how people like it and if its the best option for a front plate bracket. I mean it looks good in the photos but just needed some feedback from those who actually have it. I assume it connects same as the center one but mine would be on the side.

I ordered a STO N SHO for my wide body that mounts in the center bumper area. The mounting bracket uses 2 factory small screws that are on the underside of the bumper. Part number is SNS1E.
