Side Marker Vinyl Wrap

What do you guys think of 3M side marker vinyl wrap? It looks pretty cool at night. For only $25, it really helps to personalize your car. If anyone has done this, how has it held up? 3M guarantees the vinyl for 5 years.

Also, please post a photo of your Challenger.

That looks cool. Luxe tint (vinyl) has been on my marker lights for 2 years with no signs of deterioration or delaminating. I wouldn't hesitate to use the 3M product.

I've had them on for 2 + years and so far so good. I like how they look and have received a few positive comments at car shows

I've had Big Worm Graphix tints on mine since day 2 of ownership, 2 1/2 year or so. No sign of any issues. They are 12 mil thick and they state 2-9 year outdoor life span. Ads for the 3M also say 5 year outdoor life span. I think they will have good longevity, and should remove with no issue should you want to replace them in the future as well

That's pretty neat. Hmm...

Oh, and the requested, gratuitous (?) pic. Still haven't gotten any better photos with the new wheels. lol

Thiose decals look awesome but since I live in Florida I don’t want to dim any illumination to make sure the elderly and phone drivers and teenagers and pedestrians and martians can see me. I would not survive the trauma of a scratch on my girl.

Do these vinyl wraps take away the reflectivity of the side marker lights?

In South Carolina it is illegal to modify any lights or reflectors in any way.

For safety reasons, I have no problem with that.

they do, a little. side markers are illuminated when the car is on or driving and I have no problem seeing the light day or night.
I have them on my R/T, certainly adds to the overall look. most cops will not care. tail light tint however is an entirely different matter. not only illegal most everywhere, but insurance will kick your claim/coverage out the door, if ever you're hit and driver claims they never saw your brake lights.
