I like the look on my 2019 Challenger R/T. I left them on. A friend who also bought a new Challenger just gave me the pair he removed. I didn't know these were being E-Bayed.

Depending on the Challenger model, they are selling from $66 to $100!

I don't get it.

Yeah, I don't get it either - *especially* people paying up to $100 for the stupid things!!! It's one thing to leave them on when you buy the car, but to actually go and pay for them, especially up to $100, is just crazy...

Personally, they would be the first thing I removed if they were on my car! :-)

There is no "problem" - just crazy how something that is meant to protect something during shipping and is usually removed and thrown away before the car is sold has now become so "desired" by some that they are willing to pay up to $100 for them! :-)

Again, no "problem" - just "strange"....

My chin spoiler is chewed up.

My friend's Charger Scat Pack would scrape on angles I did not.

Don't see what's so strange.

People aren't using them for protection though - they're using them for looks (at least according to the article). I highly doubt they would protect anything that caused enough force to chew up the air dam - they are only held on with a single christmas-tree type fastener and are meant to be very temporary, from what I've read. In fact, one of the biggest issues mentioned in the articles is that they *cause* damage - not protect you from it. :-)

I'm curious how yours gets so chewed up - is your car lowered or something? Or does it just get messed up from extreme-angle driveways or something? Just curious (haven't had any issues with that yet).

Well there are people who still like to keep the thin plastic film on their phone screen (I am talking about the film that comes with the phone from the manufacturer not the aftermarket screen protectors).

I know people who keep the plastic cover and paper floor mat, the dealer put on while they service the vehicle, for weeks.
