I agree. I really miss the old days when Challenger owners got the "rock star" treatment.

I agree. I really miss the old days when Challenger owners got the "rock star" treatment. Back in Dec. 2008, people were falling over each other trying to get a photo of my 2009 Hemi-orange SRT.

I have a dream that one day I will go to a car show and it won't be 90% Chevy's. I like them but they just get old

Even when I bought mine in June of 2013, there still was not a whole lot of them around...but as time goes on....I see them all the time. Sigh*

Good, that means more aftermarket and more incentive for Dodge to spend R&D into it.

If the price for that is hurting someone's itty bitty polka dot bikini of an ego, then that's a sacrifice I am willing to make.

That's quite the collection of cars!

I've wanted a Challenger since they were reintroduced, but I was a good soldier and kept my Mustang as that was the most financially prudent decision. If the Challenger had been available in 2005 when I bought my Mustang, I almost certainly would've gone for the Challenger.

13 years later, and after 120,000 miles of good service from the Mustang, it's gonna be time to give the Challenger a try!

What are your impressions of each car? Obviously, they're similar enough, since they're in the same category of automobiles, but there's probably some distinctive differences that separate the two as well.

I do believe I'm on the Highway to Hell

I've owned over 50 cars including many Camaros, Challengers & Mustangs. Of these 3 they have their +/-.

Having owned 3 5th Gen Mustangs the 2013-2014 are the best as they should be but still are sloppy & unstable handling compared to the Camaro or Challenger. I upgraded the suspension & brakes on my 2013 GT to get it close to my Camaro or Challenger. Even my grandkid hauling 2014 SS Sedan easily outhandles the Mustang. With that said I probably had the most fun in the 2013 Mustang because it was more of a challenge to drive being nose heavy with a high center of gravity compared to the others.

Both my Challengers have been great handling & smooth rides. Major improvement in overall car from 2010 to 2017. I get a kick out of those that say a Challenger can't handle curves.

The Camaro is the better handling car of the 3 but I'm not a fan of how I sit in the gen5 or gen6 Camaro. I had the 2012 Camaro for 2 years and played hard with no issues.

My 2012 Camaro SS/RS (My son has a 2000 WS6 Trans AM)

Needed more doors for the grandkids so traded in the 2012 Camaro for a new 2014 SS Sedan (6.2L LS3 powered) which now has over 80K miles and is a keeper. Here I beat my Son's 2016 2SS in 1/8 mile heads up no tree racing.
