Recently bought a complete set of clear LED side markers from Amazon and boy are they way brighter than the stock ones. I like the fact that since they are clear they sort of blend in with the bright white paint...it's got that non-murdered out look (AKA Gandalf'ed). The pic was taken with my Samsung S7 and the side markers are quite intense. Price wasn't bad at all but we'll see how long they last. Part number on the box was 75-135-Clear-AR (V-172909).
Actually they are not bad but are way more noticeable. My biggest gripe about the OEM ones where that they were too dim. That and I did not like the amber/red lenses, looked like bike reflectors during the day.
Can you take a couple of pictures at night? Just to see how bright these are. Also maybe with the headlights on to see how one light source compares to the other.
Taken with my Nikon 5100 and 35mm lens...I am not a very good camera man especially went taking very low light pics. With the naked eye you really only see the LED segments but in the camera it still appears washed out and overly bright. Might reinstall one of the stock rear side markers for a direct comparison.
Here is a comparison of OEM (used a 12v lawnmower battery as power source) vs Aftermarket. Again with the naked eye the OEM side markers you can clearly see the 3 leg segments but the camera seems to blend it together and over intensify. I will say that from the side, no one will miss where the car begins or ends. :grin2:
