Question XM module dead

Hey guys & gals...
2015 RT Shaker I love it but when I bought it I didn't realize the XM module was bad.
I bought a new module and now the fun part! Apparently the headliner needs to be dropped for the XM module to be replaced.
Has anyone done this themselves?
I live in Kennewick WASHINGTON ... is there someone local other than dealer to perform this service?

Thanks for your answers in advance!

How did you figure out it was the XM module that was bad, and not a radio problem?

All other functions on the radio work. Had XM try to do a connect to reinitialize and it failed, they suggested that the module was bad. I had a buddy that was working at one of the local dealerships and he also determined that the XM module was bad....
Thoughts?

Shaker Baby!
