Any reasons not to buy a 2015 6.4L Manual

Hello,

I am seriously considering buying a 2015 Scat Pack 6.4l with the 6 spd manual transmission. it is through a dealer and is CPO. It's got high mileage. and some funky decals on the sides. they might peel off ok. Doesn't appear to have any paint work anywhere, runs and drives nice and tight.

any insight you all could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

thanks for the welcome is your dog a golden?

i'm glad to hear you think it's a good deal. I think it is to as I don't need a trailer show queen, nor do I have the spare change for that.
I loved driving it. My daughter kinda had her heart set on a purple one, but I guess you can't be to picky when shopping used.

Can't offer a full featured reply, but if the car checks out -- passes a thorough used car check out -- and the price is right it could be a good deal. A high mileage car that passes a used car test is generally a car that while it has been driven has been taken care of.

What you don't spend on the car initially though you'll have to spend, at least some of it, on addressing things as they wear out. Beyond the usual things like brakes there are other "wear" items like water pump, fuel pump, of course plugs, maybe coils, even O2 sensors, U-joints, wheel bearings, and so on.

The paint may be brighter under the decals, but otherwise you may be good to go.

thanks for pointing those things out.

it's not gonna be a daily driver. but I noticed way too much brake dust inside the wheel. pads probably the first. normal maint. doesn't bother me. It will make it on to the local road course a couple of times, so safety predicates perfect maintenance.

i was thinking the same about the color of the paint under the decals.

did they make OEM decals that ran the full length of the sides, under the belt line, that were flat black and said 392 (cut out on front fender) and SCAT PACK (cut out on rear quarters). Cut out being color of car comes through.?
