It appears the 5.7 & 392/6.4 use the same lifters across the various applications (A5 / A8 / M6). I wonder if the the higher spring rate [392] might have some effect?

Since its the same parts in the 5.7s [different cam & springs vs. 392] , I'd expect to see some of these issues appear as well
