Bought a used 18' with 19k miles for $25k last Wednesday. Stock besides 20" Niche wheels. So far it has been a blast.
Will enjoy it for a few years then move up to a Scat Pack most likely. I wanted to start my foray into newer muscle cars kind of lightly because I've never owneed such powerful vehicles. So far I regret nothing!
Is it the dame color as yours? I'm on mobile so your avi is small and can't see it very well.
I wanted the purple or lime green one but the red with black accents is gorgeous.
I took my 2 daughters to school today because they missed the bus. Pulled up and they hopped out and all the little boys were staring and then started talking to my girls. I thought "uh oh..." haha.
I've taken them in it once before and they said it's "embarrassing because it's too loud"
You better believe it ? Still get the giddy feeling everytime I hit the start button!
Trying to sell the Nova, kind of surprised nobody is biting because I priced it super low ($6,000) just to get rid of it. Hagerty and NADA (and the local DMV office) say I should be pricing at $8-10k. Guess I'm not surprised, not a huge market for CLASSIC muscle cars right now.
No rush on that though, it's not a bad predicament to have a classic and modern sitting outside ?
Just noticed something cool. Do all Challengers have this little Challenger logo on the window on the drivers side?
The previous owner did a cool job blacking out the side and black lights so I'm assuming he had this done too.
I think my first mods are gonna be appearance. Gonna get the Black/Red R/T badge from the spoiler and the gloss black 345 HEMI badges for the hood.
Amazon has some super cool 11 piece console mats that fit in every part of the console (cup holders, door, lower door cup holder, in the center box console). All different colors to match your car. I'll come back and post some pics of them.
The Demon's is doing a burnout <img src="http://www.challengertalk.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Wink" class="inlineimg" />
Congrats and welcome to the club! I hear you about wanting to move up. I was debating whether or not I should go with the next level up but opted to stay lower and max it out with the options that were important to me. You're not kidding about the power. I'm still adjusting as well. Even when I'm light on the pedal it's easy to find myself going faster than I realize.
