Advice Wanted: Matte Black

Hi,
I shouldn't have done it but took my Shaker to the dealer for service.
When I got her home I see oil on the shaker scoop and black spoiler.
Just where the tech touched it with a rag or hand...

Any ideas on how to easily remove the stain before I put on Areo 303?

Thanks!

Some people just gotta be different...

Try Dr. Beasley’s. I used it on my matte motorcycle all the time, with good results.

2006 Ducati 999s (scary fast)
1998 Ducati 748 SPS (far from stock)

Something paint safe like Gyeon Prep would likely work

Super Clean will do it. I buy it in gallon container then mix up 2 spray bottles. One mixed 1 part Super Clean & 1 part water, the other 1 part Super Clean & 3 parts water. One or the other works well for most cleaning situations.

Jazz Blue, Ruby Red Leather, A8, Scat Pack Appearance Group
Tazer, BT catch can, ported intake manifold, Hemifever Tune, Fastman 84mm TB.

Thanks for the replies!
i was hoping to use something i already have on hand....

Called the dealer and they said glass cleaner?
not sure if that is a good route or not.

I have rubbing alcohol, WD 40, brake cleaner, dawn, and carb cleaner and most other cleaners on hand.
Also the Areo 303...

Thoughts?

I was going to suggest PineSol, but Dawn dish washing soap would be a safe thing to try.

I would be afraid to use brake cleaner or a carb cleaner. You don't want to tarnish the paint.

2016 SXT+ Airaid CAI. Fastman ported throttle body. Bright pedals. Billet Technology catch can. Petty front shock tower brace. 1 of 524 Plumb-crazy SXT's for 2016.

Tub-O-Towels is great for that. Safely cleans much more than just hands. Took some tar off my fender like a charm.
