Isn't that annoying?!?! It has happened to all of us at one time or another... No matter how diligent you are in checking the weather, sometimes mother nature doesn't listen to the weather forecast! ;-)

Still looks great though!

Thanks, I just blow dried it with my Stihl leaf blower, the water came right off. Hope it stays that way, going to put McKees tire gloss on it now. Maybe the rain will stay away. LOL
I'm a glutten for punishment I guess.

LOL, I hear you but I can't I don't have a garage. I have 1 million square feet of land but no garage. 1 day I hope to have one 40x60 I'm wishing for it. Just got the McKees tire gel on it no rain so far. Looks awsome for now!!!

This happens about 8 out of 10 time. Garage or not, rain would be in the forecast within 2 weeks. Not real rain, more like sprinkles to mess it up, where it's not dirty enough to wash again, but mess up the shine.

I know it is a losing battle especially since I drive it over 100 miles a day. It has about 10 coats of Mequiars Ultimate Fast Finish and 3 or 4 coats of Mequiars Ultimate Fast wax over that. The bugs come right off!!! I really don't know what else to put on it. Thursday I have a gallon of Bead Maker coming UPS. The Fast Finish is good but I'm about out of it so ordered the Bead Maker to try it. I wash my car once a week or more. I use a Car Pro Sheep Wool Mit and then blow dry it. No swirls yet after about 75 wash jobs. Love this Challenger and hope to build a big shop to park it in 1 day. Dang it now it raining again while I'm writing this. LOL I just can't win.

Thanks for the sympathy. I'm positive by the time I drive 50 miles to work in the morning it will be covered in bugs, so my life goes living to see my car clean. I love seeing it spotless so I just sit on the porch and stair at it knowing in a short few hours the bugs will attack it on my drive to work. Nice smooth ride getting there though so not all is lost to those pesky bugs!!!
Thank the Lord above for the nice paint coatings we have today that help make life easier on people like myself. Country life in a Challenger!!! Got to love it!

It's akin to doing a rain dance. I washed mine Friday even though I knew it would get rained on Saturday and Sunday. At least it was clean when it got rained on
