Flowmaster Force II decibel rating?

I'd really love more rumble to my exhaust note but there is a 95 dB legal limit on aftermarket exhausts here, does anyone know if the Force II will pass?

Thanks.

I would call Flowmaster and ask but I would think you would be ok. It is only slightly louder to me than Challengers with active exhaust. I'm impressed that mine hasn't gotten any louder 9 years and 148k miles later.

Its 95db at 2500 rpm , according to the way the law was written

Empire custom exhausts was doing free decibel readings when the new law was passed to give customers a piece of mind. Maybe you can hit them up, in Pomona i think

Thanks, but I live in Dubai haha. They introduced a law last year making all vehicle modifications legal as long as it passes and gets certified at a modified vehicle testing center here, normally it's great news except I learned that the exhaust noise limit is 95 dB.

I guess I'll have to contact Flowmaster and ask.

I have this system on my car, it's louder than stock - but definitely not loud. I can't imagine it would be louder than 95.

The Force II is one of their quieter systems, I guess the question is, why are you changing if not for better sound?

Description from carid:

Quote:
Force II™ Exhaust System by Flowmaster®. The Force II Series is designed for a mild, moderate, or mild - moderate performance tone experience (depends on application and exhaust type), suitable for everyday street driving. The character of the exhaust sound still has the deep, rumbling tone that signifies power, but at a more subdued decibel level that gives a pleasant performance character to driving without being tiring. more details on - https://www.carid.com/flowmaster/for...st-system.html

Thanks, it's pretty much what I want I guess. I don't want a screaming exhaust, just a good note and rumble which the Force II fits in perfectly. The '16 A8 stock exhaust is pretty bad in terms of fun noises in my opinion.
