QUOTE=I had not bought the Solo system yet and called Steve and asked if I could get the X-pipe in place of the muffler…..no problem and I even saved some money going that route. If you think your RT auto sounds wicked at WOT then you will probably die of a heart attack with the SOLO…..its AWESOME!!!! Call Steve and tell him what you have and what you want….personally I would go X-pipe, no muffler, then for some strange abnormal reason you decide you want it a little quieter later, you can always buy the muffler/pipes for easy swap. You can call Steve 7 days a week, great guy that gets things rolling fast, you won't be disappointed.[/QUOTE]

Hello, after much research I am contemplating going Solo on my Challenger 2015 RT A8! But now this conversation between the Solo Mach X vs Solo X Pipe has me which is right for me. Do you happen to have any videos? About how much did you save going with the X Pipe option? Opinions anyone?

I ended up going with the Solo X Pipe system for my 2015 Challenger RT! I could not be any happier! Love the exaust note, I now definitely feel like I have a muscle car!

Got a great deal from Steve at Solo as well! I also ended up with some dual quad tips installed after my brother and I installed the exaust. Thanks to all for all of your great input in helping me make my decision!!! Could not be any happier, I can now enjoy my muscle car!!!

Hope this helps anyone else looking into upgrading their exaust for their car.

Thanks for the follow-up. Any issues with the actuators or codes?

No problems at all! My car is a 2015 Challenger RT A8, I dont have any exaust actuators, and there definitely is no codes.

My car had never sounded better! Glad I went in this direction.

So is one of the best exhaust co out there. Service is fantastic Steve took my order in a Sunday. They system is quality ( just wish they would offer 304 s/s instead of 409 s/s. Fit was great. I asked about custom tip mod and they was more than willing. Anyone looking for a catback give them a shout.

Is this available without the "J" Pipes? I want it as obnoxiously loud as possible. Will this work if I decide to go long tube headers and catted mids in the future or would I have to go with cat4ward type headers and keep my stock mids?

You could uncork the j-pipes, remove the caps. But they are there for the drone, and in theory only remove the harsher tones. If you discovered you don't like it, put the caps back on and clamp em down. Just mark their position before you remove them.

Seams to be that way. One person has so so issue or reviews others praise. Sorry to here about yours, did they ever get you squared away? I could give the same review about modern muscle. I spend 6000 bucks with them and I might as well been a guy buying a catch can. I will NEVER EVER order another thing from them every again.

No I ended up with some cheapo tips from a muffler shop...i still want some mandrel tips but i give up. No complaints about the exhaust though, i ordered my exhaust late 2015 and i was one or the first with the “mach x” on an RT . I did buy it for cheaper then they advertise now but they claimed the tips would look funny because i have a bigger opening in the rear than older models.

Go figure, quality exhaust sounds great just wish they could have made the tips , i wasnt asking for free either.
