Hood pin color

Ok I am have a beer staring at these hood pins. Thinking about one of 3 things. Need opinions

A. Leave them alone
B. Powder coat the pins black
C. Powder coat the pins red

The disc on top is mopar black

Thoughts?

I would leave them alone. I think there would be a chance of the pins scratching the posts if you powder-coated them.

good news: you can buy pins in just about any color imaginable. many are anodized, so they will scratch up eventually, but changing them out is easy and pins alone are super cheap. try ebay.

Black to match the tops...although red pins sticking through would be an extra added touch...The pins/lanyard connector is chrome?

Hood pins are functional and not meant to be painted and look better that way.

The hood pins on my car were powder coated black and still got scratched up from undoing the fasteners when opening the hood.

anyone got a recommendation for hood pins that dont cost an arm and a leg?
