He's always got good tips, just wish he wasn't such a hater for anything that isn't a Toyota.

Particularly FCA for some reason. Other companies, he'll go into detail about what to look out for. FCA he just shits on and moves on without elaborating.

Maybe he had bad luck with a Dodge so he's that way just like I am about a Chevy. I won't own another one.

This is my first-ever Dodge and I will say - in other "circles", Chrysler/Dodge has a bad reputation for reliability. In fact, I'm sure I've said multiple times that I would never buy a Chrysler product (should never say never!!).

Obviously, I can't comment on reliability yet (only had it for a few months), but I have been impressed with the quality of the interior and how well built the car seems to be. It feels like I'm driving a tank when I drive this thing - very "solid" feeling. It's also extremely quiet inside (Buick-like quiet) and just rides so nice, which REALLY surprised me for such a "sporty" car (usually "sports" cars ride like a truck - not the case at all, at least with my GT). Yes, it's a heavy car, but I kind of like that - if gives it such a solid feel.

I have always been a GM guy - and so far, I have been very impressed with the Challenger. I just hope it stays that way over the long haul (I tend to keep my cars for 10+ years). Time will tell - but so far, I'm definitely glad I tired the Challenger!

the 80s - 90s models. There were so many shortcuts and cost-cutting measures that compromised durability.
(the 4 cylinder era)

another example were the LH series cars. Seemed like good designs, but many design issues that really did them in.
