Would this impact the production start date for 2014s?

What's another year or 14 months to wait? And even then maybe it doesn't happen. I do thank RS for his help though.

I really hope one of the late-availability colors is B5, DWB, BSP or some other cool blue! I'm sorry, but I really don't like Jazz Blue and was slightly depressed to see it made a comeback. The Shaker package sounds awesome, though, and I can't wait to see it.

As far as everyone asking why the Shaker isn't available on the SRT - I think that's because the SRT has a completely different engine. Dodge would have to engineer a completely different Shaker setup for the 6.4. Since the SRT is a low-volume car, it wouldn't make financial sense for them to offer it on the high-end cars. Besides, they have the Core model which is already a different SRT appearance package.

Their are after-market shakers already in production for Challenger R/T and SRT. For example:

Shaker and

Dodge Challenger Shaker Hood System | Danko Reproductions

I can't imagine any scenario where the same small block engine size matters. Dodge will get their money either way, if its on a 5.7 or 6.4. This has to come down to marketing strategy (ie., releasing sublime later in the MY). If the R/T w/Shaker package sells well, I would guess they'd put it on the SRT at some point. Then again, we are talking about Dodge, and if any of the OP's reasons are actually valid, then Dodge's management and marketing decisions are even more suspect than I originally thought.

The 'CUDA that was supposed to come out was killed... starting over. Sergio has stated many times that the product isn't as far along as people think.
