I think it's awesome that they're doing the Shaker package, even though it will only be on R/Ts. The SRT8 Core is pretty cool, too. It brings the price of the 392 down into the realm of a Mustang GT or Camaro SS where it can actually compete. Personally, I wouldn't spend $50k+ on a SRT8 when I could get a 662 HP GT500 for just a few grand more. But I would spend $40k on a SRT8 instead of a Mustang GT.
I have to agree with you WyoHemi. After looking at the previous R/T appearance packages, they never made it to the SRT.

RS - Any information on the Shaker package regarding paint scheme(s) and what the new wheels look like?

Thanks!

I've thought about this, but.....

Good point however, I did not want to "invest" in a one year old car if times comes that you have to trade in a SRT in a few years the 2014 will be worth more than a 2013 at least this is how I look at it.
I was just wishing that the 2014's would have come out with a 6 speed Auto............

Would an aftermarket shaker void your warranty?

I believe by law mods are not allowed to be a reason for a manufacture to void your warranty.

i bought my SRT used from a Ford dealership. They had a 2013 GT500 there. I asked about the price. They said it should sell for around $85k.

I said F that, I want to see the SRT.

thanks for this, I had been waiting for any info on the 2014MY. Think Ill try to cash in on some deals for the 2013 MY and not be without a whip for the summer.

Ill trade it in if there is a redesign. Of course there will be something that will make me wanna trade it in before that.

The law basically says they cannot "void" your warranty for any reason. They can refuse repairs, but only if they can prove it was an aftermarket part that caused the specific failure/damage.

A lot of dealers will try to price gouge specialty models. GT500s are especially bad because they are actually fairly hard to come by. I'm pretty sure they're a lot rarer than SRT8s. Anyway, it usually backfires and those dealers end up sitting on expensive cars for a long time. $20-30k over sticker for a car is asinine.
