You're kidding right?

The entire appeal of all the pony/muscle cars and Corvette for that matter is found in their over-all affordability.

Any guy with a decent to good paying job can afford these cars......at all trim levels.

There are no Challengers aimed at the "uber rich"..........at least none in the modern era.

You want to talk about a nearly unusable for much more than taking it to car shows Matching #s Convertable Hemi Car crossing the auction block at over $500,000.......then we can talk.....but nothing NEW offered by Dodge meets the description.

There appears to be a shiny badge on front fenders. I'm guessing it says 426 Hemi.
I'm with you. Seems like the most logical explanation since the T/A's have been a sales flop, there's no supercharger sound, and the 426 is the only rumored naturally aspirated platform that we haven't seen yet.

Weird. It was on their FB page last night but now I don't see it...just the original teaser vid. Wonder if they posted it by mistake?

At the beginning there is a guy sitting in a Hellcat who lights a lighter and you can see it flickering through the windows. It continues with the footage from the teaser video mixed throughout. There are flames coming out of the Hellcat exhaust at times (which is damn cool) and the car lights off the fireworks as it goes by. Before they take flight, the driver gets to a high spot in town to see them go off (because the car is just that damn fast, wink wink).

The car had a chrome Hellcat emblem on the fenders. I mentioned in the other post that I saw a bright emblem in the teaser vid, which is why I didn't think it was a Hellcat. Aren't they black?

Anyway, it's a Hellcat. Maybe flame throwing exhaust is an upcoming option?

Or, maybe it's not announcing anything except wishing a Happy 4th.

Looks like the GT RWD and R/T will get a new hood and Scat Pack front splitter, think the hood will be the old SRT hood.
