I have been a diehard Chevy and Corvette guy all my life. My friends are giving me an awfully hard time now with a Viper and Challenger in the garage with the Vettes. Dodge is making fantastic cars. The Challenger just checked all the boxes after looking at Camaros and Mustangs. The Challenger is our daily and trip car. Neither of it's competitors even have a usable trunk. Hard to beat the retro looks of the Challenger. I am impressed with the build quality as well.

Not too surprising..
I am a GM guy but in 2010 when the Camaro came back out I compared the Big 3's muscle cars and at the time Dodge had the best looking of the bunch. I considered buy a Camaro back then but when I sat in one I was so crammed and uncomfortable in it that I wrote it off my list and it has stayed off over the years. The challengers were too expensive for me at the time and the Mustang didn't do anything for me. So when Ford redid the mustang in 2015 I had more room, it was more comfy and I almost went for an orange GT but it was also just above my price range comfort. So I held out hoping for a price drop on the older challengers since the refresh in '15 and it paid off a few years later.

Funny, same thing in the truck world. Ram edged out GM sales recently. GM claims it's just because of marketing strategies and some other excuses. That may play some part but really I think it's because GM has screwed up their redesigns in some ways, where FCA only keeps improving. The new Silverados and Sierras aren't exactly easy on the eyes, same with the Camaro.

I like all cars. or at least the interesting ones.

GM. Oh brother. there are so many fundamentally flawed things wrong with GM, from leadership being driven by the 80's flawed business models to Lack of Heart and Soul in the products. It's just silly and I don't want to waste the time to begin typing what all is wrong with GM. Suffice it to say they are not really that different than Sears. And we all see how that went.

Oh and I was a huge fan of many of the GM cars and brands and the people that really inspired that company at one time or another.

I think there are probably too many computer trained folks using CAD based designs and not enough car loving people using heart based designs involved in today's car companies.

Nice to get out of a problematic 2016 Camaro SS and into something that makes more sense on a daily basis with a child in the picture. I am proud be a part of the 2019 sales numbers for Dodge The car was made right and it shows in the sales and keeping it retro rather then make it a sporty sports type car that has refreshed it even uglier IMO lol.

G.M. Screwed the Camaro up from day 1 and Still Continuing to screw it up. Knuckle head designers and engineers.

G.M. or Ford has nothing for Dodge.
Which is good for Dodge.

That’s the whole reason I bought a Challenger. It’s the best looking car on the market.
I’m a G.M. Guy. I still have my
Impala SS and keeping it.

Dodge has knocked it out the park from day 1 and still continuing to improve the Challenger.
My only disappointment with Dodge is the R/T’s are using the SRT hood now.
