The Chevy SS wasn't really "retro" at all, in my opinion. While it performed well (from what I've heard), it looked like a modern Malibu. :-) Nothing retro about it, really. Good "sleeper", I guess, but *nothing* like the retro-ness of the Challenger.

And making a "sporty" SUV... Nope - misses the mark - at least for me. If I was in the market for an SUV - then maybe I'd like it - but I'm not. Will never replace a truly sporty-looking *car* for me. If they are trying to replace the Camaro with that, then I don't see things ending well....

I never like the looks of the new Camaro, especially the earlier years. The Challenger fits the bill for what we needed. If GM built a real Buick Gran Sport again I’d go have a look. But I’d still keep the Challenger.

The Chevy SS wasn’t even a good sleeper. It had no performance recognition. Yes too plain. Especially for the Price Tag.
I’m a GM guy turned to Dodge. The best looking Camaro was the 2012 and yet didn’t meet my standards.
