Is the resonator what some people call a mid muffler?
I’m thinking of deleting this. Should sound a little better and I won’t have a problem installing quad tips correct?

If you delete the resonators you're likely to end up with bad drone. Exhaust tips are a tough mod on Challengers for some reason, especially on the bigger Active Exhausts.

I’ve read the is only really bad with the mds on, not sure if that’s true or not.
On my 2010 RT I had a Borla ATAK exhaust, I didn’t mind the drone with that.
If I wanted a quiet car I would have bought a Dodge Caliber lol

I found this picture, would this be the same as my 2018 392 RT?
Starting at the rear would be the resonators correct? Then moving towards the front that would be the mid mufflers?
I’m very confused as to what is being called what.
If some has a more accurate pic please post.

I replaced the mid mufflers with dynomax 24249 mini race bullets and sounded great. Just put black round quad tip exhaust with a resonator delete with 3inch straight pipe. The drone has increased significantly and the car is much louder inside and out.

Drone doesn't bother me given my commute is about a half mile round trip and I only use the vehicle for weekend driving.

I also changed out my stock exaust tips when I installed my Solo X-Pipe exaust system. Went with the 4" burn blue quad tips, love the look.

so I went to a muffler shop and had the car straight pipes. Sounds fantastic!!!! Next to nothing for drone in my opinion. I had a Borla Atak on my 2010 RT and there was definitely drone, my current straight pipe isn’t bad at all.

Also had some new tips put on,

Big thx to Calgary Muffler Shop!!!!
The owner is fantastic and his guys did a great job.

I’ll post some pictures later and try and take a video

I want to put some tips like these on my R/T. Is it possible to use clamps or do these need to be welded on?
