Say that my car is built after the Brampton plant reopens during the 3rd week of April between April 15 and 27. When do you think that I will receive it if it's build somewhere between these dates? I live up in the Northeast in New England in Massachusetts. I'm only 527 miles away from Brampton, Ontario, Canada where the Challenger plant is located. Do you think that I will get my car by the beginning of May (the first week or the beginning of the 2nd week of May) if Brampton builds my Challenger Scat pack Wide Body anytime between April 15 and 27? What do you think?

Who knows? The cars sometimes come pretty quickly, sometimes not. I went though hell years ago when I ordered my first car, a '74 Roadrunner. I ordered it in May, an incorrect build came in late July, and the reorder came in NOVEMBER, as both a '74 and '75. I know it's not what you want to hear, but it will come when it comes. Sometimes, the cars are built and they just sit at the lot on the plant grounds and sit and sit, then suddenly, the car is on a train.

If you need immediate relief, start searching for a match on a dealer's website. I had to go almost 100 miles away to find a car in one of my acceptable colors with the options I wanted, without a sunroof. Scatpacks are very oddly equipped at local Toledo dealers, or they are in bad colors. Finding a Scatpack or above in anything but black/white/silver/grey is hard to do period. R/T's and GT's can be found in whatever color you want. Go to Detroit,Columbus, Cleveland, Chicago, and there are all kinds of cars in actual colors there.

Well, Just got an e-mail last night from the dealership. The car has finally left Brampton by rail. Heading to Buffalo and from there to Mass. Not sure if it stops in Buffalo for any length of time.

May have the car next week. So there appears to be light at the end of the tunnel. It will be interesting to see it's condition when it arrives. Definitely excited.

Congrats! 6-8 weeks sounds like the average time even though your situation seems uneven with only 2 weeks to build, but 6 weeks to ship. I would sign up for 8 weeks right now...I am in week 6 at “I” status.

I ordered February 7th and it's been built, shipped, and now waiting at the rail yard 10 miles from my dealer. I feel like I should just be able to go pick it up from there instead of waiting to fill up the truck.

Thanks. Hope you get yours soon. I know they are worth the wait.
