Has anyone ever said "I love having a huge plastic Tupperware turd covering the whole top of the engine!"...ever? I didn't think so.

Silver shakers are like unicorns. I know, I tried to find one. I don't think very many were made. SRT or no, you passed up on a rare opportunity.

OP's car is cool. I like the side by side picture after the springs swap. Really shows the difference.

How's the ride with those springs? Your car seems to be a little lower now than the performance group 2 and my ride is bumpy as...well you know.

Looks really good lowered like that, though. Really makes a difference I think.

The ride is nice and firm just the way I like it...stiff but not harsh...stays flatter thru cornering...
FYI...I cut off 1/2 coil from the tops of the rears to make for a flatter stance...didn't really want the jacked up rear look of the 70s
Thank you!

BTW....because I cut that 1/2 coil off I do have 2 degrees of negative camber in the rear...
Today (maybe) I will be installing Moog correction bushings that will increase the camber 1-1/2 degrees so I should be at an acceptable 1/2 degree...

looking at your side pic don't know if you have seen the side markers in black yet on your car but let me show you (pic Below)

another nice touch is the front silver part of the grill being black (pic below)

Looks very good! I like the 70s stance but other than that I'd about the same thing... Best of luck.

The two "oval" surrounds in the grille are chrome on most models, you can get black ones, or order a Blacktop package when available, and they will be black

Silver like yours

Black
