But what sucks there isnt a track near me I'll probably spend all day waiting to run a few time's at best. Reason I haven't gotten any drag wheels and tires.

I do wanna try the 555R or 05R from nitto cuz the g2 555 don't grab for nothing most of the time on the street but then I drive every week to and from work so it's manly hwy miles

Lol. I haven’t passed my 500 miles yet so I don’t even know how the car truly feels! I drive all highway in a work van, I hate the highway haha.

146 on the M6 ones. I believe, as someone else said, it's 155 on the autos.

I’ve been 155 on the 999, on the track, in full leathers and helmet. You truly appreciate just how fast that is when on a bike and not in a cage. Please wear a helmet, I want to see you keep posting. Keep the rubber side down.

2010 Challenger SRT8 M6: TorRed, Barton (skip shift+), Mopar Performance Long Ram CAI and Exhaust Tips, Fastman TB mod, Speedlogix Strut Tower Brace (front and rear), Brass Monkey Wheels (clones), Arrington Catch Can, 30% Tint (doubles the hp)
2016 Subaru CrossTrek (daily driver)
2006 Ducati 999s (scary fast)
1998 Ducati 748 SPS (far from stock)

The helmet was at home lol

I was younger at the time but I'll probably do it again if the hwy wasn't redone with racks a tar.... when it was smooth and quiet.

But it's been a min since I used it it been parked in the barn

I have an M6 and the stock tune limits top speed to 155 mph...although I never tested if the car can make it up to that speed. You really don't want to go that fast anyways with the stock brakes as they tend to really fade when getting up to triple digits.

Here are the set limits of other stock tunes that I have collected:

2015 SXT - 135mph
2015 RT (M6 an A8) - 155mph
2015 SP (M6) - 186mph
2015 HC (A8) - 254mph

Mmmm mine definitely kicked it back as soon as I hit 146 with about 250ish rpms until redline in 5th. Maybe they changed it on newer ones but my 16 definitely limited at 146.

I have a 2010 M6 tune and it shows 142mph but don't have an M6 stock tune past 2015...so you could be right. BTW there is a discrepancy between the analog gauge and the digital gauge that some folks have reported. What is interesting it seems you can change tire size either through the PCM using a tuner or you can change it through the headunit using the Tazer. There was a thread where one of the members messed with the two and got both to agree with his GPS'ed speed.

And those limits are probably based on what the OE tires are rated at, right?

I took it off wikipedia but yeah it usually is what the tires are rated at. But I think the scat pack is probably done at the 180’s. 650hp cars barely go 205 so I can’t imagine it’s got much left at that point.
