Underhood heat question... Glue/Adhesive

I am gluing something to my 392 plastic half covers and was wondering about what kind of heat the glue might be dealing with so I can get the best product.

... Update: I'm using Permatex Black adhesive sealant that goes to 450. So no suggestions needed now... but, if anyone has information on temp it would be useful to thread readers.

Thanks!

With no turbo or supercharger, probably 250°. Even with Forced induction, I'd say under 400° under worst case scenario. We'd be talking hot engine idling a long time on a hot day, or hot engine parked on a hot day. I think you'll likely not see over 250°. Suspect 185° to 200° more likely
