That was oddly quick. Wasn't he just put in charge of Dodge less than a year ago?

Looking at a long and distinguished career, I'd say the man ran a good race. Maybe it's just time to do some "whittlin', as old Jed Clampett used to say.

this sorta sucks.
I liked Steve, he is a real car guy. Even Jay Leno stated as much several times.
I think he was instrumental in bringing Dodge where it is today. I wonder if this reflects the "shift in focus" at dodge, that many of us have been dreading for a while, but which never seem to happen yet....

He'd worked at Chrysler since '87 - 32 years is a long career, especially at one company for that stretch of time.

A little over a year as the head of Dodge, Tim Kuniskis went to Maserati in Feb 18 so guess Steve took over shortly thereafter.
