Supposedly GM is killing off the Camaro again.

Just saw this over at Fox News....looks like they are axing the Camaro again in a few years. I guess having competition is good right? With Camaro gone wonder how that will affect the Mustang and Challenger? Or maybe not at all?

Not just on Fox News, some auto car sites are saying the same thing. But there is no real backbone to the story.

GM has responded to these reports, saying that the 7th gen has been put on hold. The 6th gen to continue on for until then.

.They just can not compete with the 700 HP club of Dodge and Ford. Plus they can not get the thing out of the ugly stages of its life. It is dying a slow death .Glad the Corvette still means something to the General.

Just another example of the media taking something with a bit of truth, then completely twisting it and putting their own conclusion on it. Unfortunately, it works. People fall for it without question and spread it like wildfire, to the point where it actually could become truth if more people accept it.

Here's what I think: It's not official unless GM says so, and they're not going to tell you of any plans to drop any model 4 years in advance.

GM is just wanting to sell cars. Tell everyone it is going away and look what happens to inventory to buy the last of the Camaro. Car companies have been doing it since they started .making cars.I bet they add another shift now.LOL
