yeah, but safety is more important to me than saving 20 pounds off the car. that 2lb wire hanger has zero protection in a frontal crash.

i'm sure they advertise this for off-road only.

Customers can choose what they want to use this for, but its main focus is for the race guys

22 pound weight savings but it's REALLY "like" 52 pounds because of fulcrums and levers? Sounds like a bunch of marketing and sales BS to me. 22 pounds is 22 pounds. No more no less. Just sayin'.......

Better go tell all those professional road race and NHRA drag race teams your findings then...they must be doing things all wrong.

Weight savings near the edges of the car will be more beneficial than towards the center of gravity, especially during accelerations, in all directions. The more the part rolls around, the more the mass of it will affect acceleration. Just take the classic example of sitting on a rotating stool with a weight in each hand. If you have your arms extended, you are harder to spin on the stool than if you have your arms toward your chest. When a car has body roll, it is essentially rotating around the center of gravity. So 22 lbs. off the bumper is better than 22 lbs. off the middle of the car, when changing direction... from a physics point of view
