the eight holes for a simple swap on and off, were not even close to lining up, the piece wasn't bent or misshapen, but the holes were visibly asymmetrical, no chance getting more than 2 out of the 8 bolts to fit through for mounting, took a drill and bored out the 8 holes until i managed to fit 4 out of the 8 bolts back in, and called it a day. Anymore hole width would have had me eating into the welds holding the support together...

oh and also had to use the drill to take out the unexpected TIC WELDS holding the original bumper support to the mounting bolt area.

Despite how awful the fabrication was, this is a simple job aside from the two PITA Mounting nuts inside the front quarters, and if you anticipated the tic welds and own a drill. If i didnt spend so long drilling, test fitting, drilling again it would have been roughly two hours of work to completion.

Todays frustration reminded me of similar issue i had with fitting Speedlogix front strut braces in, without a rubber mallet and a second person to help i would not have been able to line up the bolts with the holes.

Might avoid going the Speedlogix route in the future and pay for a perfect fit.
Thank you for taking the time to write this up and notify us of your experience. We certainly don't want the installation process to be that cumbersome so we'll get with the fabrication shop to make whatever improvements are needed to be sure nothing like this slips through again. If you happen to have taken any photos of the modifications you needed to make and want to PM them to me, I'd love to see those to help the process. If you decide to give us another opportunity, let me know and we'll try and give you a hook up on your next purchase.

Thanks,
Lisa.

These are completely dangerous if you care about occupant survival in a collision. Impact forces will be changed, crush will be redirected, airbag timing will be way the hell off.

Best to keep these on track only cars. At the very least, please understand the risks.

I'm a professional in the collision industry.

As noted in the description off road use only...folks looking for a mod like this are tracking their cars and should also have arnesses or cages installed as well.
