Atlanta region of the SCCA would be a group to watch. They're probably done for the year but they usually start up with a test n tune in mid February. The last year they were running in the parking lot at AMS.

I live about 30 min from AMS and saw some people running autocross out there a few times. Must have been them. Are there any others you know of?

Not sure how far you want to drive but there's a group in Huntsville, Alabama I've run with before...TVR/TAC. They usually start the same time. Go a little further south and you have Tallahassee region. They run in Valdosta area.
