Well it would appear as though I ain't as smart as I thought, cause I haven't been able to convince, cajole, or even blackmail the ole lady into making this event. I gotta hand it to her, she's bested me this time, despite me pulling out all the stops, e.g. begging, pleading, crying, throwing a fit. But noooo, she's more worried about non-challenger things like mortgages, cat food, and ample sleep...UGH!

Anyway, I certainly wish I could be making this drive with everyone, but I will not be able to. 😞

But that us some beautiful country, I spent every summer if my youth there, so rest assured I will be jealous.

Have fun, be careful (especially YOU @SKULLNUTZ !), and hopefully ill get a chance to meet everyone on the next one.

Had a great time and thank you for setting this up today. Good route and scenic. The slow pokes was some buzz kill but overall meeting fellow Mopar enthusiasts is always a fun event.

Thanks again!!

Ted

Here's a shot just before we left for the first leg of the cruise. Thanks to heartlandvideo for setting this up and even doing a dry run (except for the low water crossings!) to time each leg. Met some great people and enjoyed it very much.

Lol when we had to endure the slow poke "buzz kills" I did a lot of people watching. We turned a LOT of heads! We were quite the frisky group though. I'm probably going to need a new set of tires. These had 2 to three 32nds of tread left. I particularly enjoyed the look on that red/maroon Mustang owners face when we pulled up to the gas station after the end of our second leg. He couldn't wait to get out of there! Quietly...

I wonder how many of the lookers said "wow, nice group of Camaros"

Man, I'm so bummed that I missed out on this. I didn't see the post until today but it wouldn't have mattered since I worked that day but...looks like y'all had fun.
