New FR Demon wheels on Scat with 245s

Got new demon FR wheels 20x9.5+12 F and 20x10.5 +22 R
I reused my new 245s for the front tires and added Nitto NT555G2 315/35-20 in rear

The look and stance is great and the rear have a nice meaty look with a good poke.
I had to trim the rear inner liner to clear the tire. It took like 10 minutes with a razor and you cant see it. I can stick my fingers around the tire and clears the fender in all areas.

My car is stock and brand new so have not really punched it but most red light 80% throttle runs on the 245 in street mode were at best 5.1 seconds without trying or raising attention before spin.
Now with 315 I am doing the same soft roll technique, street mode and I am at 4.6 without trying! So I say a healthy improvement.

I will try some launches soon but I think a very low 4.1 0-60 will be doable.

So far in Florida rain the tires are also fine. I say the car feels much better and planted then the stock 245 especially around turns when I get on the gas. It grips much better.

Looks awesome! You'll be pulling easy 4.1. I pull 4.3 on 275s in the rear and their harder compound then the Nitto NT555G2. The trick is not to get wheel spin so playing around how much acceleration thru the gears is what's key. With the 275s it was hard not to get wheel spin so I did it in regular mode. I'm sure with those puppies on the rear you can get MUCH better traction so Sports mode will get you into the 4.1s easy...

I know it has some wheel gap too but I am concerned about the stage 1 drop I have coming. It will look great but I dont want to effect ride quality or have major change to alignment. Right now it rides great and doesn't scrap up front.

@Jjcuff1 just curious, what made you go for 9.5" all around instead of going staggered (10.5 in the back and 9.5 in the front)?

Sorry man, I had a major brain fart...disregard.

I’ve seen stage 1 in person and looks like it did nothing. I’m sure if you search ppl called it a waste
