Pirelli P Zero Summer Tires

I see a lot of people commenting that the stock Pirelli's are shit for sticking torque to the ground on the new widebody challengers. Are you guys referring to the STOCK stock Pirelli All-Season tires, or the option to replace these with P Zero Summer tires, at time of ordering.

I sort of impulse upgraded mine to P Zero, as I know Pirelli has made some good rubber in the past.... are these that bad at sticking torque to the pavement?

I do not have a widebody but can tell you the 275 all season Pirellis are not good on the street. On the track my best 60' time was 2.0 which is pretty good for all seasons. Still ran a 12.3 in the 1/4. 🙂

Yes dude, ALL-SEASON tires are going to suck a dog dick haha. My question was in regards to the Pirelli P Zero Summer Tires.

Did you order yours with the all season or summer tires?

I got the all season on mine. In Illinois, you never know when a snow storm may pop up, in the middle of July.

its not that the summer P/z's totally suck (all seasons do), its that if your dropping the cash on new tires, there are many other "better" options.

2015 Mods:
Hellcat Intake w/ AEM hi-flow filter.
GenPartsCo-USA D.I.P.S. air catcher screens.
Axis Model II's.
Firestone Indy 275/40/20
Rolling Thunder Reso delete.
Exteremevinyls side marker tints.
GPC Trunk Pull Handle.
Spare/Jack/Foam Delete.
GPC Phantoms.
Mopar O.E. Black Fuel Door.
Hellcat OE. ABS Cover.
Rear Seat Delete.
2014 Dodge Viper Seats.
Custom Fire Extinguisher & Mount.

I agree. I figured that considering the upcharge was $995 - that was a decent price versus what those tires would cost in 305 size, aftermarket.

I have not tried my P zero all season tires at the track but there is a SPS there with the Goodyear F1's that is running 1.7 60 ft times.

I have noticed when I put a little scrub on my P zeros in the warmer weather they are a lot stickier than they were before .

I think you will like the P zero summers, I have heard they are sticky.

2019 wide body Scat
Foot print gas pedal ( just kidding)
