not much going on....i put some billet accessories on the SRT engine bay....basically the cover for the oil, radiator, tranmission caps....i have about 1300 miles. how are you enjoying the JEEP SRT? have you done any mods, how is the new jeep forum....I finally sold all of my other leftover RT stuff including the Airaid CAI...which i gave away for $100 bucks but its better than sitting in the garage gathering dust. BTW I think i told you i got that rim re-machined, and re powedercoated for $125. It looks perfect. If you ever get a wheel damaged this is the place to go....
Firetruck you have worked very hard so that you can enjoy the fruits of your labor. If you are able to cut a deal that makes you happy by all means get the 2013. Now, I wish you told me you were thinking about selling before i purchased my car as i would have contemplated buying your srt8. I am a car man and i cannot tell another car man not to get his dream car....So hell yeah, get your car and enjoy the hell out of it....****...now a supercharged version, who knows if a convertible is near....and i just bought one...crap. I am always a step behind
Firetruck....if you get a chance, please post feedback on my buying relationship with you...I also list on the forum and need a "feedback" for people that buy stuff from me. I finally sold the SRT exhaust....took $200 and he cut the tips and left them behind...(was installing them in a truck so the tips were of no use for him....I have the tips for the SRT and RT listed for $85 each set.... Everything else is sold
Good Move....I shipped the ones i sold via FED EX ground....the buyer paid $130 including insurance and package boxes.... time to sell excess inventory and stack your cheddar for your next project....a Harley Davidson Ultra Classic or Street Glide....
so you have Borla or Corsa? what kind of MPG did you get over the long distance. I drove from Orange Beach Alabama to Dallas about 700 miles straight...and i got 25MPG....see if you can send some photos with that car on Cali beach on the background. Any tickets?
other than the buyer from Houston (he bought an SE) i had no other offers on the wheels....i have had offers to trade them for other wheels WTF....i need the money not a set of cheap chinese wheels on a trade. Got 725.00 not too bad a price when i read what other chrome clads sold for on challenger talk...the plastic is just not right with a 38,000 car...what a travesty
Finally got the check....went to wells fargo and got my cash, then took the wheels to fed ex for shipment to the buyer (on his coin)....SOLD all exhausts, wheels etc.....I may sell my take off tires....I am going back to the 245 on the back the 255 raises the rear end too high when compared to front wheels.. If i sell the tires for 450 or 500 i will be pretty close back to where i started.....I would take the diesel....you will be very comfortable...my son lives in Calabasas and is on his second year of law school at Pepperdine...good kid....as you know we have to keep our hispanic race moving up and education is the only way... have fun on the trip....let's get together sometime at one of those LX meet and greet
glad you settled on your bbs and put 3,200 in your back pocket. I am still waiting for the "check in the mail" I have sold everything that i have taken off except those damn chrome clads...have fun in Cali and see what the new trends are in cars....Cali is always the first to set trends. I have some nice billet stuff for the engine coming from BT dropped 250 on a catch can and some dress up bling
i already have an extra set....have you thought about mounting them on your BBS and selling the set complete....rims without tires are very hard to move....you stand a much better chance getting a good sale on the BBS if tires are mounted...
going back to stock again? Are you printing money? I have my eye on a catch can, let me know if you want to sell yours (if you have one), and a Drake black fuel door. I read your comment on the dirty oil and thought it was time to get one of those things...is yours baffled or filtered with steel wool or something
