Hey Mike, Thanxs for getting back to me. All cars are at some type of dealer. I found all on Auto trader. I typed in my area code (((10958) and it searched all models within 500 miles Came up with 34 cars in either Orange or PCP ( that's the only thing I know for sure at this point is the colors ) Which is a large area ( not sure if id travel that far unless a deal knocked my socks off ! The SRT is OK looking but im not sure I like all the decals and appliques he has on it This particular one is at ALBEE MOTORS in long island NY. The RT classic is in Albany NY (around 80 miles north of me ) . TThen their are some orange which seem to be a little more affordable and available . not really sure why .Whats your opinion of buying at a small dealer Or a trade in at a big car dealership or privately owned ? any pros or cons ?? I know it helps if they have a car fax on the vehicle

That '58 was out of service when I started. It was refurbed at a local County Jail when they were running a slick work detail there. The oldest front line rig was a 1961 LaFrance in the early days of my career. Now our oldest reserve is an 85 Pierce. That was the newest rig when I was hired! That means retirement is coming up sooner than later...

    BTW... Love Detonator Yellow...

Mike, Like your fire truck! When I started in Farrell in 1995 we had a 51' LaFrance as our second engine out just like your's! What a MACHINE real driver to operate that engine.
