  1. All season tires for Scat Pack 1320?

    Wheels, Tires, Brakes, and Suspension
For long-wearing, reasonably priced, ultra high performance all-season tires, I highly recommend the Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 tires. I bought mine from Discount Tire, one of our supporting vendors, and I am very pleased with them. Check out the video reviews...
  2. Throttle Bodies Show Need for Catch Cans

    Speedlogix
I've been a believer from day one. $100 for a catch can is cheap insurance!

    Off-Topic Discussion
Why did he buy a Camaro SS if he doesn't use its performance? Did he buy it new? If so, he could have saved a lot of money and bought a V-6.
  5. One Unique Challenger

These "modded" giant-wheeled Challengers remind me of this...
  6. Cool little shelf for the office...

    Challenger Chat Lounge
    I like the 1970 'Cuda shelf, with the shaker hood, for $75. It also lights up- a perfect Christmas gift for the man-cave! The dimensions are: 19 3/4" W x 5 3/4" H x 7" D.
  7. Challenger convertible... is Dodge making one?

    General Challenger Discussion
The Challenger was originally designed with the idea of a convertible model. Unfortunately, the bean counters decided that it would not be profitable to manufacture.
  8. U.S. Marshal's Auction

    General Challenger Discussion
On October 26, 2019, there will be a live and web auction of confiscated classic and modern high performance cars, including a SC Demon, Hellcat, AAR 'Cuda, Daytona, etc. This may be a great chance for someone to pick up a real bargain. Here is a link to the catalog...
  9. SRT Badge

    2015 to Current R/T Scat Pack 392
Here is some cool information and advertising literature from the original Scat Pack. The Dodge Scat Pack was originally introduced in 1968 with the Charger R/T, Coronet R/T, Dart GTS, and Super Bee. In order for a car to enter the Scat Pack it had to be capable of running the quarter mile in...
  10. SRT Badge

    2015 to Current R/T Scat Pack 392
I agree. When I bought my 2009 SRT, I thought that it had a chance to become a collectible in 20+ years, based on the limited 5-year run of the 1970-1974 Challenger- only 164,861 were built. However, the new Challengers have been in production for an incredible 13 years and over 500,000 are on...
  11. Clear coat bubble???

    General Challenger Discussion
I agree. If it is not that noticeable, I would leave it alone.
  12. You Can Buy a 700-HP 2020 Ford Mustang GT for $40,000

The Garage: For OTHER car talk
That's a bargain price if you like Fords.
  13. SRT Badge

    2015 to Current R/T Scat Pack 392
It's your car and you can do what you want. However, a Scat Pack is not an SRT. They are two different models. I would be proud of what you got.

    Performance Modifications
    Great explanation.
  15. Playing with oil weight

    General Maintenance Discussion
0W-40 Mobil 1 is the full synthetic oil recommended for the 6.1 SRT engine.
  16. Autoform Cuda Grille installed!

    Exterior Discussion / Modifications
Looks good, but $570 is a little pricey. Have you considered painting it the same color as your car? My 1971 'Cuda's grill was Rallye Red- just like the rest of the car (see 1971 sales brochure, below). I think that the color made it stand out more.
  17. Question for those running 275s tires.

    General Challenger Discussion
I have 275/40-20s on the rear of my 2009 SRT and have not encountered a problem with rock chips. That, however, may be because my car is not a daily driver. If you are worried about paint chips and do not want to install mud flaps, why not install 3M protective film?
  18. 275/35/20

    Wheels, Tires, Brakes, and Suspension
As stated, above, your wheels are not wide enough. If you try to squeeze them on, they will not perform or wear properly and may be dangerous.
  19. Kevin Hart Hellcat Cuda totalled

    Off-Topic Discussion
As expected, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) has determined that the crash Kevin Hart was involved in was caused by the driver operating the vehicle in a reckless fashion. Hart's friend, Jared Black, was behind the wheel at the time of the accident. The CHP stated that Black gunned the...
