Purchased by my father on the day I was born, this authentic survivor "Bandit" Trans Am has been in my family ever since. As a child I fell in love with the whine of the straight gears in its 4-speed Super T-10, and I learned to drive stick in this car. As a teenager I took it to car shows with my dad and occasionally even brought home trophies. In my 20s it was my wedding car. It then went into hibernation for over a decade and now finally is permanently in my care.
1979 Pontiac Trans Am (Black)
Hurst T-handle shift knob and Jensen aftermarket tape deck are the only interior mods. Car has power everything and even still has the radio antenna embedded in the original windshield glass...but no tilt steering wheel for some reason.
Bone stock. Original paint and hood bird. Some tape stripes on the roof were replaced in the early 1980s due to overspray from a building roof being painted next to where it was parked.
