Hi, Just picked up my first Scat Pac. In an effort to bump HP a little, I was wondering if it makes sense to install CAI .

Thanks in advance.

if you have Shaker model, you already have a CAI system on it as OEM

No, it's unique to the Shaker stock. It's an open top intake connected to the Shaker and the throttle body. You can open the headlight and install a tube to take air directly to the air box though

Where is the oil dipstick? Do you have to remove that shaker to check the oil and when you change the oil and filter?
Will you notice any kind of difference by adding that Hellcat air intake headlight system to this shaker package?
Is it worth the trouble of doing this?

Dipstick is on the passenger side of the engine, you can see it's yellow handle on the left in the first picture here:

You do have to remove the Shaker top to get to the fill tube, unless you do some contortions to get around it

As far as the cold air tube to the headlight. It isn't the Hellcat system, but anything using the headlight opening is often referred to as a Hellcat tube.

It's known as the Mopar Cold Air Intake System

The square part connects to the square opening already present in the front of the Shaker CAI, and connects with pins to the air box. The other end goes to the headlight opening of course. It will fit any Mopar CAI added to a Challenger 2015+ as well, but the Shaker comes with the CAI OEM.

Adding a "Hellcat" headlight tube will generally result in lower Intake Air Temperatures (IAT). More cold air to the engine is generally better, an actual performance gain is questionable, depending on what other mods are installed.
