Sorry fellas, a long story ahead.....:disgust:

So, I was driving my car at night when a few cars flashed me, like my lights were not on...... I am like "huh?"

I get home, leave car running, get out and my "rear running" lights are off, yet the front head lights are on....?
Then I notice that the front yellow parking lamps are also off.....yet headlights are on. Brake lights also work perfect
when I pushed on brakes.

I decide to turn the light switch from on to off and back on and wella... the problem lights are back on.
So I mess around changing the lights from on to (A)auto and test different things, car in PARK everything is fine.

Once I drive it...... the rear running lights go dark, and yellow parking lamps are gone....again.

Take the car to Torrance Dodge Dealer, explain the issue. They keep my car
for 5 days whilst I have a rental. They cannot duplicate what I did at home?, they will not trouble shoot
it any further. They give me my car back and state, "unless a tech here sees the issue duplicated we
are not allowed to just replace random parts on the vehicle with the possibility that it is not the problem
and we waste money and labor. So after the 5 days, they said, "Hey, can you record the problem on
video, and send us an email, then we can make an exception to use this as evidence of duplicating the
problem, then we can go ahead and take some action per the service manager"

Welp.....I was not happy about them having my car for 5 days, they paid for my rental, but how
the hell can these certified technicians not duplicate the issue, and I have to be the one doing
there :surprise:job at home, and all this bs?! That means I have to come back and do this all over again.

So, I sent them the video, they said bring it in.
They said now I have to pay for the rental car no matter what..... F
They call me and say the tech found an issue, the switch was hot and why some of the
lights were turning off. They send me a pic of the head lights switch they removed from dash.
I said, "Well okay, if that's the real issue", who am I going to question that its the problem.

Part was $99.38, which I saw online for $59. Labor $140. 2-days rental $69. (whatever) not happy.

I go home, drive it at night, get out of my car after hockey game, just to see, and the same problem
happened again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????????????????????????????????????????????

So, me alllllll maddddd, call my service guy up and said, same problem occurred, I am not happy
about it, I wasted $310 on parts, labor and a rental for a bs miss diagnosis??!! The service
guys said to bring it back in. I said you guys owe me $310 (TBContinued).... blah.

So now my car is back at Dodge Torrance for the 3rd time, I showed up with my lights on
..... and the problem glaring:wink3: right at them, IT WAS EASY TO DUPLICATE
........all the service managers came out and saw it
in person. So, now its a free rental:grin2:, and awaiting on more
certified techs to tell me what's wrong. I feel they made up the issue about the switch and just hoped*
it was the problem by luck. Those guys have no clue, nor did they try to TEST the
new switch and see if the duplication occurred.:surprise::|:frown:

HAS ANYONE HAD THIS STRANGE LIGHTS ISSUE?

Thanks kindly.
