Another accolade for the Challenger.

U.S. News and World Report Rankings & Reviews has named the Challenger as one of the top 10 cars that will look great in 10 years.

Here is what it said:

"Dodge gave the Challenger a retro exterior that resembles the first-generation Challenger of the 1970s. Even after 30 years, the Challenger's classic design is still fresh. If the first generation still looks aggressive and capable of hitting the race track, you can expect the latest generation to look capable of the same 30 to 40 years from now."

Shoot this car is based on a 30 year old design that is still awesome today! I told a friend of mine when I bought mine the car will never go out of style, it was a 30 year old car when I bought it :)

It funny how some things are done so well they stand the test of time and generations. I'm still amazed at the number of people that stare, point or comment on the car. From 7 to 70 the design just hits it.

At first I wanted to disagree with the #1 and #2 being the Mustang and Camaro but I guess I can't really. The Mustang has to be the best selling model line ever and there are certainly enough of them on the road. The Camaro.... I guess we'll see.

Mostly what I liked about that article was the Challenger they showed in slide #9 :)

I saw that this morning and I agree. I also see another one of my cars in there, the Ford Flex. To me it's a more polarizing car, you either love it or hate it.

I have yet to talk to a single person that doesn't think the Challenger is a handsome car.

the Honda Civic????

that alone makes this list B.S.

no one will collect Honda Civics or restore them some day

i agree that everyone likes the looks of the Challenger....the 300 is nice too

i agree with alot of the cars on the list....the Vette should be there instead of the Civic.. these auto lists always have to consider Mileage...its complete BS...no one who collects cars even thinks about MPG....yet auto tv shows and reviews are obsessed with it

Not really surprising as when the Challenger first came out some of us got the compliment "hey that's a beautiful restoration!" before some people realized Dodge was making new ones, lol.
