2011 model year info

Yes it is free. Most of us have been useing it for years. Alot of good info. The last time I looked the infos for 11s wasn't updated even though the cover page says it is.
Tips concerning previous model years that do not work on 2011's has been
noted in those specific tips. Information specific to new systems on 2011's
like Keyless Enter-N-Go have been noted, as well as being in the owners
manual.

If you have information on 2011 model year that is not in the owners manual
and is different from previous model years information, send this to the email
address noted at the bottom of the page to have the specific tip updated
for additional 2011 model year information.

Sorry those notes must be new. A couple of months ago they weren't there but the cover page said -11. I have a 10 so the only time I get 11 info is on here when I quote something out of there and get yelled at.

The Pot calling the Kettle black.....

That site is a hack job from info that I posted on this forum and on our website. The guy is just cutting and pasting what everyone else is providing. He seems to think that copyright laws do not apply to him.

Here's the real deal: http://www.challengertalk.com/forums/f108/i-didnt-know-challenger-tips-tricks-20759/
Your hypocrisy is astounding here.

"Searching through many of the other Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep websites, I have compiled a list of TIPS and TRICKS for the Challenger (albeit, a lot of it was "borrowed" from the Charger forum). Some of these tips and tricks you may already know of, some you would never have discovered and still some have that Wow factor.

Feel free to PM me with any other little tips and tricks that you feel need to be included or with any corrections that you may find. Have fun!"

Well, you can certainly climb down off of your high horse and quit with the two-year old "I want my Candy" rant and note that you are displaying central traits of an Obama hypocrite. Did you not say the exact very same thing above?

YOU compiled a list from borrowed "tips" and now you are somehow different or in some way "special"?

The euphemism "tips and tricks" has been used by many over the past 60 or so years to related to many things automotive, electronic and mechanical. So the title certainly is not unique to you either.

Let's look at these tips you posted and their "uniqueness" to you;

Note that 98% of your tips are actually contained within the Challenger Owner's Manual(s).

TIP:1 - Push button cover. Tip is documented in 2009 Challenger Owner's Manual [pg.246]
TIP:2 - Performance EVIC; Tip is documented in 2008 Challenger Owner's Manual [pg.166]
TIP:3 - MDS/ECO Mode: Tip is documented in 2009 Challenger Owner's Manual [pg.161,172]
Tip is documented in 2010 Challenger Owner's Manual [pg.187]

TIP:4 - Wipers Swipe: Tip is documented in 2008 Challenger Owner's Manual [pg.122]
TIP:5 - Fast Lane Chg: Tip is documented in 2008 Challenger Owner's Manual [pg.119]
TIP:6 - Trip Functions: Tip is documented in 2008 Challenger Owner's Manual [pg.150]

TIP:7 - High Beam Tip: Tip is documented in 2008 Challenger Owner's Manual [pg.153]

TIP:8 - First Oil Change: " Common knowledge" to anyone who has done their own first oil/filter change.
TIP:9 - DRL's enable: This is required under Canadian law and not in US. TIPM has option to enable but most dealers DO NOT know how to do this and need a specific TIPM procedure and have a Chryslers "dealer.net" connection to enable in US.
TIP:10 - Filler cap hook; Tip is documented in 2008 Challenger Owner's Manual [pg.274]
Tip is documented in 2009 Challenger Owner's Manual [pg.321]

TIP:11 - Seat Belt Chime Off: This is documented in 2009 Challenger Owner's Manual [pg.42]
TIP:12 - Prop Rod Replacement: Common knowledge from anyone asking for this at the dealer parts counter, as they already exist on all SRT's.
TIP:13 - Sun Visor Rod/Ext: This is documented in 2009 Challenger Owner's Manual [pg.77]
TIP:14 - Cruise/ESP active: This is documented in 2009 Challenger Owner's Manual [pg.128]
TIP:15 - Tray cleaning: This is documented in 2009 Challenger Owner's Manual [pg.399]
TIP:16 - Cruise Control: This is documented in 2008 Challenger Owner's Manual [pg.128]

So you see, the borrowed "info" is in the Challenger Owners Manuals beginning in 2008 and is nearly identical up to 2011 releases. They are just on different pages in each of their manuals respective releases.

In closing, you "borrowed" info from another forum and posted it, now you condemn another for not only doing the same thing -but-, paying for a web domain, a web hosting site and monthly band-width fees to put this information FREE to anyone who needs it outside a tightly controlled
and biased automotive forum where you cannot post links to messages in other forums!

With close to a half-million hits on the site so far, I think the general Challenger public is much more appreciative, since you'll have to post 160+ more tips just to "catch up".

I think your hypocrisy knows no bounds, eh?

No need to respond bud, as I know your type and exactly who you are. It is your high and mighty attitude (among a few others) that has hurt membership here, and I do know this for a fact.

So your Mr. Davis huh? lol

Well, first and foremost, copyright law applies to not just the content but the way the content is arranged. Good ol' Mr. Davis there copied, and by copied I don't using the same idea, but copied in a simple cut and paste, and when he did that he took with him my thoughts and personal opinions. That my friend is black letter copyright infringement.

Now, you claim that I must have somehow violated the copyright laws by, how again? I did not copy verbatim from the owner's manual or anyone else -- Mr. Davis did. Instead, I gathered the information from many sources, most notably forums related to Chargers and 300s which share many of the same parts equipment. I put that information into my own words and listed them. Mr. Davis instead stole that. Plain and simple.

No need to respond bud, as I know your type and exactly who you are. It is your high and mighty attitude (among a few others) that has hurt membership here, and I do know this for a fact.
You know that for a fact huh? LOL. Much like your aleged factual knowledge in copyright law I presume.
