I understand that putting in the T-Stat will lower temps and I have a Predator so I can set the fans after install. (Cooler temps = Denser Charge Blah, Blah, Blah)

What I'm wondering is this; I see Thermostats advertised for $30. Am I missing something or can I go into the local Auto Parts Store and just give them my Car's specs and ask for a 180° Thermostat?

Am I getting something more reliable for the added bucks or has it been THAT long since I've purchased a T-Stat that that is what they cost now?

Napa part 191. $6.97. It works just as good as the $30 pieces.

Just went to Advanced Auto. They said they were out, but that the "Stant" they usually carry in 180° is $24.99. Must come with a new O-Ring for that price.
