Gentlemen,
I bought a 180 degree T-Stat for a 1973 Challenger 340 to put in my 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 as it was the same diameter. However, upon removing the stock t-stat from my 2009, I noticed there is a plunger on the factory one that has significant depth in comparison to the 1973 t-stat. Is that a problem? Is the 180 t-stat acceptable if it doesn't have the depth that the stock 2009 t-stat does?
Thanks in advance,
