Man, $1800 is a lot of money for a seat upgrade (SRT392) . . . Can anyone give me a good argument for this, before I finalize my order? There is not one single dealership within 200 miles of me that has a single vehicle in stock with this "Laguna Leather" that I can check out in person . . . I would seriously consider it, if I knew just how much of an improvement it is over the stock seats, and without having any way of trying it out, advice is all I have to go on . . . .

I think it's the same as my wife's 2014 Jeep. Not worth it!! It's not even soft but that may make it more durable. I felt it was not worth it, just a money maker for them if you want brown seats.

The Laguna leather is a softer more supple leather yet than the Nappa leather used on the R/T + / SXT + seats. Its of the quality that you find in higher end European makes.

I got to sample the seats in an SRT Jeep GC a couple of months ago - very nice materials.

Two colors available in SRT Black or Sepia with the Laguna leather option.

I really liked the laguna leather in 2014 Jeep SRT when I was in one.

I can only wish I had the option to get the Laguna Leather in an R/T. I drool over that stuff.

No, I can't make the argument. All I can say is, $1800 is like the cost for 15 tanks of gasoline these days. If you keep your Challenger at least 7 years, it is like filling your tank twice a year to enjoy that beautiful Laguna Leather.

Like I said, I can only wish, since I want an R/T shaker, and it is not available. Bastages. I would pay $2500 to have the Sepia Laguna in my R/T.

You can get the premium level katzkin seat leather kits for about half the cost of the factory option, Yes I like the Laguna looks also, would definitely order it on mine if and when I can get a hellcat, but If I can't find one with the laguna seats I'd very quickly go over to katzkin and pick out a kit very close in color to what dodge will offer, or maybe something slightly different to set it apart. I ordered my katzkins from dodge accessories the day I got my car, dodge will even install them...for a price.

Katskinz should be much cheaper than that.

I paid somewhere around 700 for my katskins for my rumblebee, then paid 200 for install.

that is only front seats in the ram so 1800 from the factory does not sound too bad to me if you want leather.

Check with some local upholstery shops and see what $1,800.00 will get you. They should be able to get the leather you want.

Factory standard leather is only seating surfaces, does laguna get full leather seats? These days there is more vinyl than leather in there but they still beat you over the head to pay for them. Katzkin makes a better seat cover.

It's all bonded leather anyways.

I've been really thinking about that upgrade too. Here's two articles from the SRT website that I found last night, explaining in detail where the leather comes from, and how it differs from other leather seats. Luxurious Sepia Laguna leather now adorns SRT® interiors. : driveSRT News These two articles pretty much convinced me to really consider the upgrade, but that's just me. Lavish Laguna leather provides a full sensory experience in SRT® vehicles. : driveSRT News
Wow good article now I want it!! Think I will check about adding to my order if not too late and if it doesn't hold up my build! I like the embroidery the regular leather gets with the SRT in the seat VS the Laguna which is just stamped, guess I'll leave it alone don't want to delay the build.
