Hey guys,
I just inherted a 1970 challenger from my uncle and I really want to restore it. But the keys were lost in all the years. is there a way i can get the keys made?

Any good locksmith should be able to duplicate the keys.

He will have to come to the car and make a new set

Yep. A good mobile locksmith will be able to make new keys for you that fit your current locks. It'll cost, very roughly, in the $100 department.

If your current looks seem broken and/or worn you might consider getting a new set of locks and matching keys from eBay for $80. However, this would require you or someone else taking the time to install them.

For my 1973 Challenger project I ended up going with brand new locks.

Most older cars you can chand the swich, Key and cylinder out without haveing the original key. I never tried it on a challenger but I don't think it would be hard to do. i think you have to take the wheel off but don't need the old key. If you can't like said earlier a locksmith should be able to make one.
